Ten years ago, EpiX Analytics opened its doors in a small office in Princeton, New Jersey. Back then the partners figured - through our risk analysis know-how and tools - that there was about a 75% probability that the company would make it to its ten year anniversary. Well, here we are, ten years later with a new name, a new and spacious office in Boulder, Colorado, and a strong and focused team that continues to use its analytical expertise to help private and public organizations worldwide make better decisions in the presence of uncertainty. What we hadn’t anticipated ten years ago was the wide breadth of organiza-tions that would come to us for help identifying and quantifying their risks and uncertainties – from pharmaceuticals, food safety and animal health to finance, insurance, manufactur-ing, construction and oil & gas. We’ve had the pleasure to work together with over a hun-dred companies and public organizations and taught courses in risk analysis on six conti-nents to over a thousand participants. It is a testament to all of us – companies, govern-ments and individuals alike – that we can all benefit from better understanding our risks. We thank all of our clients we’ve had over the years for giving us the opportunity to work with you and we look forward to continuing the journey for many years to come!
