Palisade 2014 Regional Risk Conference

New Orleans 11/19/14 & 11/20/14

Dr. Huybert Groenendaal, managing partner at EpiX Analytics, delivered a presentation on Nov. 19, 2014, at
Palisade’s 2014 Regional Risk Conference in New Orleans. His presentation was entitled, How to Build Accurate and Decision-Focused @RISK Models? Lessons from two real-life case-studies. Here is a link to the presentation.

SRA 2014 Annual Conference

Denver Dec. 7-10, 2014

On Dec. 8, 2014, Dr. Solenne Costard, an epidemiologist at EpiX Analytics, will give a presentation at the SRA 2014 Annual Meeting entitled, Is Raw Milk Safe? Quantitatively assessing the impact of raw milk consumption changes in the U.S. Using stochastic modeling, we estimated the risk of illness due to consumption of milk and cheese contaminated with 4 major pathogens, and the additional risk associated with unpasteurized products. Upcoming Courses in 2015

Postgraduate Certificate in Risk Analysis in Health and Food Safety

Our next intake for the Postgraduate Certificate in Risk Analysis in Health and Food Safety will begin on March 2, 2015 at the Royal Veterinary College in London. If you don't have the time to travel to London but want to take the course, the program includes online teaching delivery. Please contact Barbara O'Neill at boneill@epixanalytics.com to discuss this option.

The course runs from March to September and is comprised three sequential modules. For details on the program, please visit the Royal Veterinary College's website. To apply, visit UKPASS.org. The application deadline is February 4, 2015. For those of you who have previously attended one of our courses, there is a possibility to apply for a Module 1 exemption. A candidate successfully granted this exemption is given a GBP1200 discount off the certificate tuition fee.
